Life necessities can be expensive- especially when you’re struggling financially. The loss of work during the COVID-19 quarantine has made it even more difficult to stay on top of basic needs and  finances.

There are numerous ways to help and many organizations out there to help us get through tough times like those.

COLLECTION FOR THOSE IN NEED

If you’re an essential worker or still getting paid, consider putting together a basket of food and basic necessities for one or two people in need.

GIVING SMALL NECESSITIES TO FRIENDS OR NEIGHBORS

Leave a meal or some toiletries for someone in need. Or offer to pick up groceries or medications for someone who can’t get out. Or if you know an essential worker who is without transportation, give them a ride or two to work.

DONATING TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS

Food banks around the US are overwhelmed with requests for help during Corona virus quarantine. So many people are without pay or dealing with reduced pay and are struggling to buy food. The food banks are in great need of donations at this time. Even small amounts of food would help at this point. If you’re still getting paid right now and can afford to buy a few extra food items please consider donating to a local food bank.
